Sharp Top Mountain Shuttle

Sharp Top Mountain looms large in the Peaks of Otter landscape in more ways than one. It's certainly a thrill to hike up to the top of the nearly 4,000-foot mountain. While a hike like this isn't for everybody, the views from the top sure are.

That's where our shuttles comes in handy. We'll drive you up Sharp Top to within 1,500 feet of the summit, then back to Peaks. Round trip rates are $15 for adults and $7 for children 2-12. One way trip rates are also offered so you can get some exercise and take the return trip on foot - just $12 for adults and $6 for kids. Peaks guests can purchase round trip tickets at the discounted rate of $10 at the Sharp Top Store.

Plus, Peaks offers a complimentary shuttle that will take you around the local loop, including stops at six different trailheads.

The shuttle departs from the main lodge building. It operates from 9:00am to 5:00pm, seven days a week. The final pick-up at the top of the mountain is at 4:30pm. If you've been to Peaks, you know how impressive Sharp Top is. You'll probably want to experience it again. And if it's your first time here, you definitely need to ascend it one way or another.

If you're short on time or just looking for a nice and easy way to reach the local trailheads, the Sharp Top Shuttle is just the ticket.

• Last run up the mountain = 2:30 PM
• Last pick-up at top of mountain = 4:30 PM
